The Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) is the trade association for digital advertising, representing over 1,200 of the UK’s leading brands, media owners, technology providers, and agencies.

The IAB UK celebrated 20 years in the industry this year, we were tasked with refreshing the IAB UK brand to help communicate their new brand alignment when celebrating 20 years in the industry.

The refresh aimed to reflect the IAB our members know and love of twenty years but refreshed in line with our new priorities as we look to the future.


What we did:

The IAB UK logo is designed to show homage to the previous logo, whilst also being forward thinking and looking to the future. The logo features a turquoise dot that symbolises the new direction of IAB UK as a mature, inclusive leader, whilst also incorporating an orange circle reflecting on the past 20 years of IAB UK.

The brand was also designed to incorporate a complimentary colour palette and assets that can be used in conjunction with the new brand.


Using the new brand, Hex Studio designed a range of branded merchandise. This included mugs, pencils, notebooks and notepads.

The interiors of the IAB UK office and event space fully redesigned to mirror the new IAB brand.

IAB UK was also provided with a full set of brand guidelines for logo use, including colour palettes, fonts, and asset placement.
