Developing an energetic visual identity for the advertising industry’s annual summit
The Advertising Association, the IPA and ISBA held their annual industry summit, LEAD, on 25 January at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in central London.
LEAD 2023 built on the legacy of the AA’s flagship event, which has run since 2012, and the success of RESET 2021 and RENEW 2022, held during the pandemic. Our case study for RESET can be seen here.
LEAD looked at the UK’s economic outlook and the industry’s biggest themes, tackling talent and how the industry can build an advertising workforce to meet changing demands. LEAD assembled 300+ senior advertising professionals covering the entire advertising landscape.
The core LEAD logo was developed and a lockup created with the logos of each industry leader. We chose a simple and striking colour scheme which unites the brands. The logo lockup is surrounded by merging zig zag lines to create an energetic visual identity.
We also created all other assets needed for the day, including:
