Assets design for an anti bullying campaign

Hex Studio worked with The Diana Award’s Anti-Bullying Campaign team to build a set of assets to assist school teachers, mentors to the programme, parents and their kids to understand and talk about a range of subjects that affect young people online.

Given the range of the Diana Award’s audience, we needed to create a look and feel that would adapt and relate whilst work with the master visual identity of the organisation.

We did this by taking the existing colour palette and building on it through fun illustrations and bright graphics.

Delivering an asset library that the team could use across the programme, we applied this to handbooks, worksheets, certificates, quiz cards, games and guides.

To date, the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors Programme has trained over 24,000 young people in over 3,000 schools/youth organisations to be Diana Award Anti-Bullying Ambassadors and lead on tackling bullying in their schools and communities throughout Great Britain.

As a charity, it was important to us to find a design studio that would reflect The Diana Award’s mission and focus on young people. Ellie and the team at Hex did exactly that with the brilliant resources they designed for us as part of our online safety programme, Be Strong Online. They understood and built on our brief in a collaborative way and kept up excellent communication to produce high quality work to our deadlines. I would definitely recommend them to other charities seeking to enhance their visual branding.
